Amir Siddiqui, President/CEO of SIMCO, has over 28 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York and Connecticut with vast experience supervising various infrastructure construction projects ranging from highway construction and rehabilitation, to sewer installation and railroad construction.  He also has extensive knowledge in the design, implementation, and inspection of Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC) plans according to the Federal and State Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).  He graduated from NEDUniversity of Engineering and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Executive Vice President

Subi Chakraborti has over 28 years of experience with NYSDOT, including last 10 years as a Regional Director.  Subi Chakraborti brings over to SIMCO his broad technical knowledge and management experience of Transportation planning, Design, Environmental, Construction, Traffic and Safety, Maintenance Operations and Airport Management. He also worked as a consultant before joining NYSDOT. Subi’s addition, once again, reinforces SIMCO’s commitment for quality and dedicated services to all its clients.

Senior Vice President – Civil Design Division

Robert Hoffmann has over 39 years of wide-ranging, hands on experience in transportation engineering, highway and bridge design, facilities design and construction management on major infrastructure projects in the New York metropolitan area. Mr. Hoffmann has managed assignments with the US Army Corps of Engineers, MTA Metro North Railroad, New York State Department of Transportation, New York State Thruway Authority, Connecticut Department of Transportation, New York City Department of Transportation, New York City Department of Environmental Protection and others.

Senior Vice President – Traffic Division

Warren Michelsen, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware, Mr. Michelsen is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. With over 16 years of experience in designing and managing numerous traffic engineering projects throughout the NY/NJ region, he also has a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) nationwide license. His experience includes traffic signal design, traffic planning, traffic impact studies, maintenance and protection of traffic, traffic control devices, value engineering, accident and safety analyses, and design of roadside appurtenances. Additionally, he is affiliated with the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Vice President – Transportation Planning

Michael Monteleone is AICP certified and a Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey with a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His professional experience includes 27 years in the Transportation Planning field in the New York Metropolitan Region. He has conducted traffic impact, corridor, pedestrian, parking, safety, and transit studies for a variety of clients including the Port Authority of NY & NJ, New York City Department of Transportation, New York State Department of Transportation, New York City Transit, Dormitory Authority State of New York, New Jersey Department of Transportation, NJ Transit, and New York Metropolitan Transportation Council.

Vice President – Business Development

Howard Chynsky brings 33 years of leadership experience in transportation and infrastructure, most recently as Vice President at a major Engineering and CM firm, where he served as a nationwide resource for business development, negotiated teaming arrangements and represented the firm in public-sector and industry organizations. Howard spearheaded the Corporate Communications Group and served as Transit and Rail Client Relations Manager. Howard’s multi-faceted career also included senior level positions with MTA NYC Transit and the LIRR. Howard holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and an MPA from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service. He is a board member of the Society of American Military Engineers’ New York City Post and also served on the board of the CMAA NY/NJ Chapter.
